☀️LATAM on Fire: Crypto Vibes from México to Argentina!

During @ethereum_mexico, Rafa Calderón - product lead at BITSO, shared insights as of Q2 2024 on the LATAM ecosystem and how Argentina and Brazil made the global top 10 list of countries with adoption rates nearly at 20% of the population using crypto. Argentina adoption trends can be associated and driven by economic ups and downs and a search for financial alternatives, while Brazil is riding on its young, tech-savvy population and massive smartphone usage. Colombia and Mexico made the top 25 list.

Zooming in on the ecosystem, the following chart shows how Brazil is ahead with almost 100 entities building/investing in web3 with Argentina, Mexico and Colombia rounding out the most active countries buidling/investing in web3 in LATAM.
