🚨Community Spotlight: Web3 Familia Hacker House, ETH Argentina 🇦🇷
Web3 Familia recently hosted a Hacker House at ETH Argentina - 🇦🇷 TIERRA DE BUILDERS 🇦🇷! A total of 374 hackers participated, submitting 61 projects, and only 36 made it to the final pitch day, where both our teams (Swaylings & Zero Bridge) had the opportunity to present on stage. Over 3,000 attendees enjoyed the three fantastic days.
During the Hacker House, we conducted six sessions covering leadership, pitching, community building, security, infrastructure, and a session for college students to access resources. We had a turnout of over 120 people throughout the five days at ETH Argentina. The program was designed to empower communities with valuable resources and training, fostering Web3 knowledge and soft skills-building to complement the technical nature of the builders.
The Hacker House also assembled two teams to compete in the Buildathon. Team 1 developed a "learn to earn" project called Swaylings, and Team 2 created a multi-chain lending platform called Zero Bridge. Both teams performed amazing, earning them the opportunity to pitch on stage at the Buildathon finals, with Zero Bridge securing a bounty! 💯

Also, a big shoutout to the Ethereum Argentina Team for orchestrating an incredible conference, and a special thanks to NeoPower and Buidlers for their hard work and dedication in organizing the Buildathon, making the hacker experience truly unforgettable!
🎉 Big congrats to the winners:
Public Goods / Impacto Social Track: VeriTrust Protocol
DeFi Track: NoirCash
Infrastructure Track: SimpleFi
(there was a tie) of the NFT & Metaverse Track: The Shelf & Wander
🤝 Thank you to our partners:

Main takeaway from ETH Argentina: It has been an enriching experience, where I have been able to meet people I have known for a long time. Making new friends, but above all, continuing to build on web3 is an experience that I would definitely live again, for all the learning that you generate during the days of hackathon.
Hacker 👾: Christian Narvaez
Role During Hackathon: Intern
Socials (Twitter/Linkedin/Instagram): Linkedin; Twitter; Instagram
Main takeaway from ETH Argentina: Two of our sponsored hackers had to cancel due to family emergencies, leaving us short of non-technical hackers. So, I stepped up with a student mentality to assist. I was amazed at how teams from all over Argentina and the world came together and built MVPs in less than 36 hours. I had the opportunity to sit next to Arturo, a highly skilled full-stack developer, and witnessed him build an entire backend in just a couple of hours. Together with Paola, our talented UI/UX designer, and Sury, our Graphic designer and Project Manager, who kept us sharp and organized, we were able to create a multi-chain lending platform. We advanced to the finals, pitched on stage, and even won a bounty. All in all, I was able to walk away with a newfound respect for the hard work that developers and non-technical hackers do. This is where true innovation is born, and I'm very grateful to have had a front-row seat! Gracias Argentina, y gracias a mi equipo Zero Bridge y Swayling.
