Dear Familia,

As 2023 comes to a close, we reflect on a remarkable year our Web3 Familia community of founders, developers, partners and sponsors accomplished together around the world. This year, we hosted events in US cities like New York City, Denver, Austin & Miami to our international activations across Paris, Buenos Aires, Bogota & Florianopolis. All these activations at premier conferences and hackathons like EthGlobal, LABITCONF, Ethereum Argentina, Consensus and EthCC to name just a few played a crucial role in positioning us as a premier Latino community of communities globally. We celebrated our second anniversary at Art Basel in Miami and expanded our team with members deeply committed to our mission (more news to come).

Our goal via events both online and IRL has been to create a safe space to learn, be a resource aggregator, and uplift and empower our community in Web3. In 2024, we're ramping up our efforts with curated events, founder/developer-focused programming, hackathons, & developing a platform dedicated to our community. From panels to networking events, reggaeton fiestas, soccer tournaments to hacker houses and educational sessions — we're creating spaces that not only connect but also highlight the talents and innovations of our diverse community of founders, developers and community leaders.

We're so excited to continue this journey with you.

👾 LABITCONF: AbadiaDev Hacker House

We had an extraordinary time at LABITCONF 2023 in Buenos Aires, Argentina — a vibrant epicenter of crypto in LATAM. Web3 Familia gathered at the Abadiadev Hacker House and hosted various workshops.

We kicked off with the Infrastructure workshop, led by Benjamin LT (@benjaminlt90) for Artifact Staking. This was followed by an Onchain Identity workshop, presented by the team from Extrimian - Celia Villanueva (@celi_villanueva), Lu Ortelli (@Lu_Ortelli), & JC Uriarte (@jcur27). The day concluded with an engaging Security Workshop, hosted by @theredguild & Matt Aereal (@mattaereal).
